About the Project
The recordings that started all of this came long before I became a mom. My sister, Danielle, used to make them for me — her voice paired with my husband Jordan’s piano. They helped me find calm when life felt heavy.
Years later, I became a mom to two amazing boys — and then, to a baby girl I never got to hold. When we lost our daughter, Mia Michelle, I listened to those recordings over and over again — in the moments when I was waiting for my friend to take me to the hospital, and again when I came home after.
Her voice and Jordan’s piano got me through the darkest days. They helped me keep showing up for my boys and my life, even when my heart was shattered.
That’s where The Mia Michelle Project came from — not from a plan, but from love. Love for my daughter, for my family, and for every mom who’s trying to keep going.
I wanted you to have what I had — a way to feel calm, grounded, and less alone. Whether you listen for yourself or gift a recording to someone you love, this space is for you.
Created in memory of my daughter, for every mother still learning to show up — even when it hurts.
